Hi! I enjoyed the game mood and aesthetic. Also had fun with the different enemies and metroidvania elements.

Even if I enjoyed it, I would maybe add some movement speed to the character, making it easier to navigate through the levels, and also adding some notifications with the controls for the different skills you unlock.

Great job and congratulations for the solodev project ^^

Did you notice the log messages in the black/green matrix like box down left? I felt like that didn't quite come through as planned. It says what was enabled when picking up the different items. It should maybe also hint about controls... I kind of messed up on letting the player know about the controls. Lesson learned. Thanks!

Regarding movement speed, I set it pretty early in order to not mess up how far the player can jump etc. I rather felt like it goes too fast when having the battery upgrade and dashing.

I did notice at the end yeah, and I think it's a cool way to show it to the player, but maybe some sparkling effect or something that makes the player click there when something is obtained should get better results. Yeah, the dash was a huge change. That feeling was only the first minutes, before I got it

did not load for me, using chrome.

I actually played it in google chrome and worked perfectly

If you would be so kind, could you press F12 after you click the "Click to start blabla" button? There is probably some error message in the log. Are you on windows?

will d

okay so it says like load game, options or what ever. I click options and click colorblind mode then save but it was stuck on that screen and would not move on. I am on windows.

Resume, or press escape, does that get you back to the gameplay?
